Lumagate is Norway’s no 1 in cloud services. Microsoft, the award presenter, says that Lumagate has landed the highest increase in new customers now using Azure, Microsoft’s cloud platform, in Norway.
Lumagates won the distinguished award for the third year in a row. It was presented at the annual Microsoft Partner Conference ‘Inspire’ last week.
Stig Nerland, CEO of Lumagate Norway says:
To win the prestigious Azure-Partner-Award three years in a row proves that Lumagate’s initial strategic decision to prioritize cloud services to help Norwegian companies improve their competitiveness was the right one for all parties. Our broad commitment to Microsoft’s cloud platform Azure has provided our experts the skills and experience our customers pursue. We see a consistent growing number of companies realize cost and operational benefits when they move all or parts of their infrastructure to the cloud. Microsoft says that Lumagate is best at this in Norway!

With the ambition to become the leading system integrator in Northern Europe, Lumagate was founded in Stockholm in 2006. In 2012, they expanded to Norway and further in Denmark in 2014. The consulting company primarily works with the implementation of strategic and technical projects - either directly for the customer or via a hosting company. Lumagate works exclusively with Microsoft technology. In the autumn of 2016, Lumagate in the Nordic region was acquired by a Finnish IT company, Innofactor. Much of the reasons for the acquisition was Lumagate's success with its cloud strategy. Lumagate is now part of Innofactor and counts 600 colleagues, 10 Microsoft 'Most Valuable Professionals' (MVP), and has locations in Norway, Denmark, Sweden, and Finland.
